confusing even for me, and believe me, I've done a LOT of these. When I
tried to register with this one, the emailed confirmation link
didn't work as didn't a copy and paste. I
had to use the 'contact us' form to request a manual registration as per the instructions I received telling
me my registration had failed. It took half an hour for them to reply informing me that my account is now activated....not
too bad at all apart from the broken links. Not really for NZ'ers looking for NZ'ers but fine if seeking international
contacts.

easy to navigate, and a well laid out site but is well overdue for a makeover. It has it's share of time wasters/fakes
and liars like all sites have, and possibly more than a fair share, but that's probably due to the free or reasonably
priced membership. Has messageboards and chat room which are accessable to all membership levels although non paying members
are somewhat restricted. According to the site, gold members are generally considered more serious by other members,
but I've seen no evidence of this (the probable reason is because one can pay less than ten bucks a month and retain an almost
untraceable hotmail/yahoo type email) Although continued abuse is not tollerated, content submitted by members is
not regurlarily monitored (according to the site admin, but I know otherwise) and management appears to be
more lenient than other sites. Having said that though, I've had a lot of feedback from members and
ex members, and the biggest groan (apart from the vast number of fake/false 'members', is the inconsistency of moderators
when dealing with messageboard postings/complaints. With everything taken into consideration, and with 99% of members living
in NZ, this site is worth joining. I do urge caution though when corresponding with other members, and strongly encourage
you not to deviate from the safety tips. Update: Site often runs slow and or displays error messages.
Site admin state their servers become overloaded and unless you're a paid member can be and are denied access to
the site during busy times. Update: STILL being denied access,
so unless you are only prepared to log in during off peak times/days or are prepared to pay for gold membership,
I'd flag this one until they upgrade their servers. $19.95 for 3 months with reduced rates for 6 and 12 months
is in the lower price range.

www.friendsreunited.co.uk When I entered very
broad criteria
for a search, but specified Wellington NZ I got zero results. There
were however a lot of people matching my
criteria in England. You are able
to search and view profiles but can't contact anyone without
first paying. They advertise their prices as about half that of other sites, but when English pounds are converted
to NZ dollars, it's expensive.
11.95 British pounds (approx $NZ30) for 1 month, 23.95 pounds for 3 months and 36.75 pounds for 6 months.

arrange "matches" for members. All membership profiles are kept confidential so it's more like an introduction agency.

to www.lookin4love.net It has cool features like chat rooms, voice and video
able to be put on profiles etc but a search showed only 10 NZ'ers registered.
Free gold membership for 6 months but I didn't stay that long to find out
what gold costs when the trial expires.
http://www.adultfriendfinder.com This international site claims to have over 120,000 NZ listings! It is sexually
oriented and many photos are sexually explicit and are xxx rated. It has all the features of the better dating sites including
'adult' chat rooms, which however are not accessable until membership is approved. Free membership is quite limited and
really requires a paid subscription to take advantage of all the features.
Silver: $29 for the first month, $26/month thereafter. $52 for 3 months
and $18/month thereafter.
Gold: $43 for the first month, $36/month thereafter. $87 for 3 months and
